So, late last night I was watching a movie with my husband and in the background was a huge sign of the Phantom of the Opera (my favorite musical.) Here's a secret for the C5 (not really a secret anymore) but I am not afraid to bust out a little opera in the car, though I don't have the voice for it. I love the instrumentals, love the story line and wish I could actually see the chandelier fall. Did you know that the Phantom has been showing for 24 years? Yup, I said 24. What other show, except maybe Cats, has that long of a running as well as awards, 50 to be exact. So amazing, I tell you. Next time I'm up there, I AM GOING.
On another note...did you know that Momma Mia was showing the SAME weekend we were in NYC? Supposedly, it's the 'World's Most Popular Musical'! Oh man, we should have gone!!! G'ma would have loved that! Maybe next time?
.........well, that's all I have for now........love you all! Makaela
Why didn't we go to Mama Mia?!?!? I think it was Gma that didn't want to go - I wasn't quite sure about her opion. LOL!
ReplyDeleteG'ma, you weren't too shy to say anything were you? haha
ReplyDeleteI thought we mentioned that one as a possibility?!? Maybe not. OH WAIT... YES, that was the one TARA was dying to see!

ReplyDeleteLOL! I am going to find us a a "Mamma Mia" t-shirt and we are going to use it like the girls did in the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants". It will make us LOL!!! no matter what is going on in our lives at that very moment. I will let you know when I find it then I will set up the rotation of it. I can still hear your voice in my head Gma " why doesn't anyone want to see Mamma Mia? LOL!
ReplyDeletehaha! I loved that movie (SofTP) Still haven't seen Momma Mia but maybe I'll change that today. Looking forward to the mail! Does this mean that once a year we'll have a MP/Chosen 5 weekend where we come together in prayer, our spirit-filled weekend? I think so! This needs to be a regular.
